Saturday and Sunday started early in the morning, preparing for a full day of motorsport action. I knew it would be a hectic weekend – from morning till evening capturing every race, from GT cars through Formula classes to the TwingoCup. Motivation was huge, especially as it was my first major motorsport event.
The races followed one after another – GT cars, Formula classes, TCR, and finally TwingoCup. I was constantly moving, finding better angles and capturing the dynamics of cars in motion. Tire smoke, sharp turns, and the wind waving fans' flags – every moment was photogenic. For a photographer, it was a real challenge – a combination of technique, fast decision-making, and physical endurance.
During the races, I moved between the paddock and track. Mechanics tuned cars, drivers checked tires, and fans took photos with the cars. Every detail mattered – steering wheels, tires, drivers' expressions, hands of cheering fans in the air. For me, it was a combination of reportage and sports photography. Tip for photographers: use a low angle and fast shutter speed to capture motion and a dramatic perspective.
The weekend was so packed that I didn’t even have lunch on Saturday. Steps kept adding up – over both days I walked more than 70,000 steps. But every step was worth those amazing shots.
The weekend finale brought the most tension – fans were shouting, cars flew past the finish line, and I tried to capture the perfect moment. Panning helped to convey speed, dramatic backgrounds, and drivers' emotions. It was an experience that pulls you right into the action.
After the races, I sat in the Press Center reviewing my shots. Each photo told a story: the rush of speed, tension, joy, and fan emotions. The weekend ended, legs were tired, but my head was full of memories. Masaryk Racing Days are more than just races – they are experiences, adrenaline, atmosphere, and endless opportunities for photographers.
Masaryk Racing Days 2025 were intense, but every step, every photo, and every moment was worth it. The combination of adrenaline, photography, and experiences is unforgettable for fans and photographers alike.
